نشرت مجلة التايم الأمريكية تقريرا عن أجمل عشر مدن بالعالم تستحق الزيارة، ويتضح من خلالها تصدر مدينة كيوتو اليابانية للقائمة، ولكن أبرز ما اشتمل عليه التقرير هو إدراج مدينة القدس ضمن أجمل مدن العالم للعام الجاري.
وجاء ترتيب المدن كالآتي:
10. القدس
تصطف في جنباتها المساجد إلى جوار الكنائس والمعابد، مشكلين في ظل مدينة عمرها أربعة آلاف عام، عالما خاصا يحتضن الديانات السماوية الثلاث، والمنتمين لها، هنا يمكن الصلاة لدى حائط البراق، والتمتع بمشاهدة حفريات مشرزمة من الطمي بالقرب من الحرم القدسي الشريف، والصعود لمشاهدة قبة الصخرة الذهبية التي تتوسط المدينة.
9. كيب تاون (جنوب أفريقيا)
إحدى أكثر المدن حيوية في قارة أفريقيا بالكامل، بفضل تعدد مراكز التسوق بها، ويمكن للأفراد التمتع برحلات السفاري أو بالتسوق، أو الاسترخاء بشواطئها وخاصة شاطئ الصخور.
8. برشلونة
ثاني أكبر مدن إسبانيا بعد مدريد، تمثل معالمها لوحة فنية متزج فيها عبق الماضي وبهاؤه بحداثة الحاضر وتطوره، ويعد متحف التصاميم واحدا من أبرز معالم تلك المدينة ويحوي أعمالا لكبار الفنانين مثل بيكاسو وميرو والرسام دالي.
